Solid Resources Fee Overcharges
If you lived in an apartment or multi-family building and paid a Solid Resources Fee you may be entitled to a refund. Claim Forms must be returned postmarked no later than September 6, 2012.
FREE Bulky Item Pickup.
All Los Angeles residents, whether living in homes or multi-family dwellings (apartments, condominiums, etc.) are encouraged to call 1-800-773-CITY/1-800-773-2489 to request FREE pickup of their bulky items that include: mattresses, couches, furniture, appliances, ovens, refrigerators and anything too large to fit into the black container.
Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) program
Existing and proposed septic systems requirements for all residential OWTS throughout the City of Los Angeles.
Bureau of Sanitation Lifeline Recertification Letter and Form
Lifeline customers, because of age or disability, and low-income status, receive a discounted rate for the Solid Resources Fee – otherwise known as the “trash fee”. All lifeline customer eligibility needs to be verified every two years to determine if the discounted rate should continue.
