Yosemite Recreation Center is a Los Angeles City Department of Recreation & Parks facility offering a wide variety of youth and adult recreational programs such as:

Yosemite Recreation Center is located directly next door to Eagle Rock High school, sitting six blocks south of Eagle Rock and Colorado Blvds. and includes an indoor gymnasium, two outdoor basketball courts, handball court, two lighted baseball diamonds, newly refurbished tennis courts, modern children's play area, two large indoor meeting rooms, picnic area, seasonal swimming pool and an outdoor stone amphitheatre which is used annually for an outdoor performing arts series.

Registration Information

Registration is taken on a monthly basis. Patrons may register for a single month or an entire season: Fall (October-December); Winter (January-March); Spring (April-June); Summer (July-September).  All payments for continuing students are due on the first of each month.  Payments not received by the 7th of each month will be subjected to a late fee. Registration for upcoming seasons starts on the 15th of the month prior to the start of the season. Sign-ups will continue during regular business hours until classes are filled.   All Registration is done on a first-come, first serve basis.  No spaces will be held without payment in full.

Class fees cover instructor fees, administrative costs, supplies, and maintaining present hours of operation.  Staff reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if minimum enrollment is not met.

ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS CLASS IS CANCELLED OR CHANGED

ROOM AND FACILITY RENTALS

Need a location for your next birthday or family party?

Yosemite Recreation Center offers its rooms and facilities, both indoor and outdoor, for private use.  Price quotes will not be given over the phone. Please print out the request form by clicking on the link below and mail / fax the completed form to the park office to receive a price quote.  The application process can take from 2-4 weeks, so please plan accordingly.

PARK ADVISORY BOARD

A Park Advisory Board is a group of people-residents, individuals and program users and representatives from other organizations, who:

• Reflect the community which a recreation center serves; and
• Have an interest in supporting, improving and broadening the programming and facilities that compromise their community park and recreational service area.
