Custodial Services Division
Custodial Services Division provides custodial services to City departments in offices and buildings throughout the City.
Services include general custodial services; such as, trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, carpet cleaning, floor
maintenance, dusting, interior window washing, and wall washing. The Division also provides moving services within
the Civic Center area which include office relocations, "special events" set-up and breakdown, transmittal of records
retention boxes to Records Center, and moving furniture and fixtures.
. Facilities Recycling Program: The City Facilities Recycling Program (CFRP) implements citywide recycling programs in city facilities as required by the California Waste Management Law. The programs are designed to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills by recapturing potential revenue from sale of recyclable materials. The CFRP is mainly responsible for the recycling of office paper and corrugated cardboard. Upon expansion to other phases, toner cartridges, used motor oil, used tires, glass and bottles may be added to the list of recyclable materials. |
