Effective June 3, 2003, the City of Los Angeles executed a contract for overnight delivery services with Southern Express International (SEI) subsidiary for DHL. The contract guarantees overnight and second day delivery services to all (50) United States and Puerto Rico.

Special Instructions:
This contract requires that mail weighing ten (10) pounds or less may use "Express" or "Next Afternoon" delivery service with written approval from the Department's Divisional Manager. Note: Mail weighing ten (10) pounds and greater shall automatically default to "Second Day" delivery service.

DHL mail must be delivered to Mail Services Main Office by 3:30 p.m. to ensure same day pick-up.
